Update remaining 32-bit Makefile flags to 64-bit. Keep papi optional by removing it from the default time_demo all target. Keep SSE example working on x64 by using SysV ABI assembly and x64-safe rdtsc extraction. Preserve the original educational structure and behavior of all examples.
